It’s tough to build a successful blog. It takes years of hard work and frustration along the way. And, it’s probably not the quickest path to instant money making (you can sell something on Ebay today to earn money).
But, if it works out, it will give you both time and money, not just money with no time to spend it. It will give you the freedom of working anywhere in the world (provided there’s Internet connection). It will also give you the chance to share your passion and knowledge with everyone in the world.
Isn’t life just like blogging?
Your life is tough, but you know you will succeed if you’re willing to work hard at the right place. Yes, there’s frustration and disappointment along the way too. And, whatever you’re doing, it sure won’t give you a sustainable long-term income in a week.
Yet, if it works out, it will give you both time and money. You might have to work at a certain place, but if your income is passive then you might have the choice of working anywhere (or not working at all). You might or might not be sharing your passion and knowledge per se, but you’re definitely helping someone to solve their problems (otherwise why would they pay you for it?).
It comes down to a math equation:
Pay the price = Success
Every successful result has a price tag. You have to find out what it is, and you have to be willing to pay the price. If you don’t think it’s worth it, you have to find something else to do.
And you might not have to pay any price, you just don’t get anything you dream about. But if you’re fine with that, that’s cool.
Be honest to yourself and you’ll be happier than most people.
